While many of the images in this gallery are reminiscent of paintings created in the impressionistic style, others cannot be characterized so neatly, while yet others feature subjects (e.g., animals) that were not much the focus of paintings at all. Some images might be classified as post-impressionistic or something else altogether. But I've never been one to embrace rigid categorizations. Regardless, every photo here may considered "artsy" to a greater or lesser degree, and I hope some strike a chord.
