As stated on the homepage, this website may be considered the follow-up to my book "71 PHOTOS: VIEWS THROUGH A SEPTUAGENARIAN LENS". The webpage you now are viewing connects to a gallery containing 24 of the photos from that book (which despite the title actually contains 122 photos). The photos chosen for this gallery are among those dozens having standalone interest beyond providing support for the book's narrative and themes. Eighteen of the 24 book gallery photos appear only in this gallery, whereas more than twenty photos from the book appear in a gallery other than the book gallery. The first 10 photos in this book gallery are of birds, arranged by order of size of bird.
